Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English actress, model and television star who rose to fame during the 90s, when she became Hugh Grant's girlfriend. When Grant became the focus of attention for the media due to his worldwide box office success with Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in the black plunged Versace dress that was secured by silver safety pins. Her appearance gained immediate media exposure. Hurley has had a successful career but her association to Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most important. Hurley began her modeling gig at the Estee-Lauder company in the year she turned 29. The company has since employed Hurley as a product model specifically for perfumes including Sensuous Intuitions and Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington was her most popular part as a character in Mike Myers hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me(1999). Hurley is currently a model and designer for a beachwear collection named after her. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's first attempts to be famous in the mainstream did not succeed. Perry was signed by two distinct record companies, but dropped before she released any music. Capitol Records released Perry's Ur So Gay EP in 2007, which received some interest due to its humorous track. I Kissed a Girl, a confident song about her sexual inclinations set against a hard-edged electronic-pop beat, was a big splash several months after. I Kissed a Girl was an immediate hit, however it quickly sparked controversies. Critics argued that it encouraged sexual relationships between gay and straight men, and others felt that the story which was depicted on the album was more appealing to fantasies of males. I Kissed a Girl became an international number-one single due to the combination of titillation with a polished melody. It also helped her sell more albums, including One of the Boys. Hot N Cold, Perry's energetic and sharply-tongued record with the second single that became a hit, also was a hit. The album that Perry composed by herself sold more than three million copies.
